Andrew Bird - Fitz and the Dizzyspells EP (2009)

Tracklisting:
1. Fitz and the Dizzyspells
2. Sectionate City
3. Ten-you-us
4. See the Enemy
5. The Nightshade Gets In It

Review: To compliment Noble Beast, Andrew Bird's most recent release, Bird has released this EP which includes some bonus tracks along with the title track (which was on Noble Beast). "Sectionate City" is a good slow song, a mixture of Bird's earlier jazzy years in Andrew Bird's Bowl of Fire and his most recent rock sound. "Ten-You-Us" is an acoustic guitar rendition of "Tenuousness" from Noble Beast. "See the Enemy" is probably the best track, an upbeat number with Bird doing some fast singing (it reminded me of Radiohead a lot). "The Nightshade Gets In It" is a somewhat strange song, ending the EP in a shroud of ominous strings.
